...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of central Box Elder and
north central Tooele Counties through 645 PM MDT
...

At 543 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles south of Almo to 15 miles west of Utah
Test and Training Range North. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Park Valley, Utah Test and Training Range North, Great Salt Lake
North of the Causeway, Locomotive Springs, Standrod, Lakeside, Curlew
Junction, Rosette, Gunnison Island, and Yost.

This storm will be capable of producing strong gusty winds on the
Great Salt Lake. This will lead to a sudden increase in waves and
very choppy waters which will result in hazardous boating conditions.
Boaters are urged to seek safe harbor if possible.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 84 between mile markers 0 and 3.
 Utah Route 30 between mile markers 21 and 89.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
