Warm to hot temperatures are expected today ahead of a weak front that will push through the area this afternoon. Expect weak southwesterly winds to around 10 mph ahead of this front, along with temperatures surging into the low 90s. The front will push through the area between 3 and 7pm this evening, and as it pushes through there will be a 30% chance of a shower or thunderstorm. In addition to any rain these storms could bring, storms may also bring strong wind gusts and hail to around an inch in diameter. Once the front is through, expect winds to become northwesterly around 15 mph before weakening overnight.
