...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN GLACIER COUNTY THROUGH
800 PM MDT...

At 652 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 30 miles east of Eureka to near West Glacier.
Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
East Glacier Park Village, East Glacier Park, Kiowa, Many Glacier,
Babb, Goat Haunt, Saint Mary, and Logan Pass.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
