...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM MDT FOR
WEST CENTRAL PENNINGTON COUNTY...

At 214 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Pactola
Reservoir, or 10 miles north of Hill City, moving southeast at 10
mph.

HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include...
  Hill City, Johnson Siding, Silver City, Hisega, Pactola Reservoir
  and Sheridan Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
