...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM MDT FOR
CENTRAL PENNINGTON COUNTY...

At 243 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hisega, or 9
miles northeast of Hill City, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include...
  Johnson Siding, Hisega, Sheridan Lake, Pactola Reservoir and Palmer
  Gulch Resort.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
