A broad surface high pressure will be anchored north of the state
over the course of the week favoring persistent moderate
tradewinds and daily upslope/Mauka showers. An approaching
tropical wave is progged to reach the islands by the week's
end/start of next week and with it comes an increasing plume of 
moisture to briefly enhance shower activity and amounts and 
possibly gustier tradewinds. Drier air is expected to return near
the beginning of the week. The latest guidance continues to depict
a gradually weakening pressure gradient by midweek which would 
lead to lighter tradewinds.
