CRITICAL WEATHER DAY STATUS...
Critical Weather Day is in effect through 12Z Tuesday, May 19th
in support of Severe Weather ops from the southern/central Plains
into the Upper Midwest and Fire Weather ops across portions of
the Southwest and Southern Plains. Otherwise, CWD is not expected.

CRITICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK...
Monday - Critical...Severe Thunderstorms, Wildfire.
Tuesday - None.
Wednesday - None.


MDS STATUS...
GOES-E MDS Sector 1 will be centered over 36.9N/98.1W and Sector
2 will be centered over 40.2N/87.8W from 1200Z to 19/1200Z in
support of severe wx across the southern/central Plains.

GOES-W MDS Sector 1 will be centered over 34.6N/105.9W from 1200Z
to 19/1200Z in support of extremely critical fire weather
conditions across parts of the Southwest and southern Plains.
