A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR SOUTHERN COOK WATERS. 

Situation:
A southeast wind flow prevails over Southern Cooks. Meanwhile, a
trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers lies to the
north of the group.

A moist easterly wind flow prevails over Northern Cooks.

Forecast to midnight tonight for the Southern Cooks:
Over Waters: Southeasterly winds 20 to 25 knots. 
Over Land: Moderate to fresh southeasterly winds, gusty at times.

Occasional shower and isolated thunderstorms.
Further outlook:    Occasional showers, heavy at times and few
thunderstorms.

For Rarotonga:
Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Further outlook:    Occasional showers, heavy at times and few
thunderstorms.

For the Northern Cooks:
Cloudy periods with brief showers.
