Key Messages... - A Bering Sea low will remain in the Southern Bering through the week. This low will bring a series of weak fronts into the Western Interior, bringing scattered showers to the region. Chances for wetting rains with these showers are fairly low. - Isolated afternoon thunderstorms will be possible in the Western Interior Valleys later this week. These thunderstorms will begin in the higher terrain and move east to west. Long duration thunderstorms could produce wetting rains and gusty outflow winds. - Daytime temperatures will be in the 50s and low 60s across the Western Interior valleys this week. Minimum RH values are expected to remain on the wetter side with values in the 30s and 40s. Cloud cover should help to keep RH values from bottoming out. - East to Southeast sustained winds will weaken slightly overnight tonight.
