.SYNOPSIS FOR THE EASTERN GULF OF ALASKA...
Southeasterly winds reaching up to 25 kts across the Inner
Channels and along the Gulf coast today as a frontal system
moves into the Southern Panhandle through Thursday. Winds
expected to remain heightened overnight and start to weaken
tomorrow morning, with the exception of southern Clarence Strait
which will see the highest sustained overnight winds, and gusts
up to 30 kts by late afternoon. Southwesterly swell increasing
steadily today and seas up to 8 ft in the Gulf expected tonight
before diminishing to 6ft through Friday.
