DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 400 AM CHST...1800 UTC...the center of Typhoon Saudel was located
near Latitude 20.4 degrees North and Longitude 143.6 degrees East.
Saudel is moving northwest at 16 mph. It is expected to turn slightly
toward the west-northwest with little change in forward speed through
Monday.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 120 mph. Saudel is forecast to
intensify through Monday.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 45 miles.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to
160 miles.
