DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 100 PM CHST...0300 UTC...the center of Typhoon Saudel was
located near Latitude 21.3 degrees North and Longitude
141.6 degrees East. Saudel is moving west-northwest at 16 mph. It
is expected to maintain this general course and speed through
Monday, continuing its trek through open ocean.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to 125 mph. Saudel is
forecast to maintain this intensity through tonight.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to
70 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the
center up to 160 miles.
